Jason Whitlock has been making headlines lately over his outspokenness against Big Tech and racism in America. Now that he has taken his job at Outkick his platform has been amplified and he's starting to speak his mind for than when he was at FS1 and before.

Kayce Smith initially called out Whitlock for his opinions on Maria Taylor and Katie Nolan.

It looks like Whitlock will eventually be coming on Smith's show on Barstool.

I know Kayce is an Aggie but it seems like she has gotten more liberal the longer she's been at Barstool and it's hard to agree with her on a lot.

I don't 100% agree with Whitlock but he seems like a voice of reason lately especially against liberal media narratives being pushed on us.

I'm in the conservative corner - regardless if they are an Aggie or not. So I guess I'll be in Whitlock's side here.

The only names I recognized were Kayce's and Whitlock's (and portnoy). Sounds like media types who benefit from a public debate over a bunch of stuff in terms of clicks/views etc. I'd expect Whitlock to thoroughly win, as it's been pretty obvious Barstool has been hiring women/doing stuff basically to be their version of the Murdoch anchorette profile, but meh, don't care.

Jason is clearly the more intelligent person and on the right side of the argument but I worry that Kayce will just talk over him and whine before he can articulate his points.

Kayce, Katie and most female journalist in video media only get a chance to get their start because of their looks. It doesn't mean they only got their jobs because of only their looks. They have talent too, but if they were ugly they wouldn't have the job. They fact they argue this shows how ****ed up their train of thought is. Can't stand when these people who deny it.

Meh, she is a below average talent with average looks.

I can remember a day when sports were fun, now they are just another vehicle to divide people.

Jason went after Benjamin Watson this week, which I don't love. No need for Watson to defend Maria Taylor here. While, i don't agree with Watson entirely on the basis of BLM and Race issues, that dude loves Jesus and has been the most outspoken pro-life athlete I've ever seen. Watson tweet at Whitlock was pretty immature from his normal stances.

I'd love for them to get on and do a podcast together because they're both Christians and both believe in the power of family to heal a lot of racial divide.

I met Kayce at A&M a few times when she was a student. This is sort of hilarious seeing this exchange.

Kayce should definitely sit this one out. She's not bright enough to get the facts straight.

Whitlock is 100% accurate on Katie Nolan. She's a terrible commentator and if she weren't cute she would never have the success she's had handed to her. Everybody out there gets the deal though, good looking people get gigs on TV that a smarter, funnier, more insightful person who is not attractive will get. Particularly women. We all accept that. The issue is that Nolan isn't self-aware enough to understand she's had the success she's had because she's relatively hot.

Frankly, Kayce is in the same vein as Nolan. If she weren't pretty hot she wouldn't have the success she's had. Have some self-awareness.

Maria Taylor is a little different. In addition to being hot she's really good at her job (usually). However, Whitlock is dead-on accurate in his criticism. It's not remotely sexist to hold her to the same standards as her male counterparts which is all Whitlock has done. In fact, it's sexist to not hold her to the same standards.

The idea it's sexist to call out these facts and hold these commentators accountable or criticize them is patently absurd.

She can because her listeners are half drunk frat boys that spent the night before butt chugging 5 gallons of boxed wine, being intellectual isn't a job requirement for her.

Kayce is homegrown. Aggie, TexAgs employee turned sideline reporter turned show host, and a cancer survivor. For that I am glad she is in her position as she regularly is talking up the school and is a good representative.

In this matter, she is barking up the wrong tree for no reason. Leave it alone Kayce.

Kayce will get destroyed if this debate happens, but lucky for her, Whitlock is hated in the media so she will be praised for "fighting back"

Whitlock will be called sexist and it is very possible that Kayce is forced to use that attack when Whitlock is berating her with facts.

She is very good at hosting shows and fits in at Barstool because she isn't overly sensitive. Debate is not one of her strengths and this could get very ugly.

Idk whether she started out as a conservative and became more liberal after moving to ESPN/Boston/NYC, but she, at a minimum, feels the need to act as liberal as she can to fit in and keep from being a target of the Twitter machine.

Dear Kayce - never apologize for being young and attractive. There is nothing wrong with that, in fact it is a blessing. Enjoy it and make the most of the opportunities it may bring. Unfortunately youth and beauty are not enduring; simple fact of life if your are lucky enough to enjoy a long and healthy life.

Second - that you, and some other ladies in your profession have careers accelerated others less attractive or possibly male do not have is provably true. Again - nothing to apologize for, embrace it. Don't run from it or diminish it. Instead say, Yes, and appreciate the blessing and opportunity you have at this point in your life and work every day to make the most of this time to develop your skillset to be the best you can be at in your profession today, and better tomorrow.

Third - it's human and natural to be drawn to youth and beauty. That is normal. It's the perverse group think at this moment in time that is not normal, that people should apologize for something good they have that others may not possess. You are not a fabrication being forced on the market, you are in demand by the market.

Imagine Usain Bold having to apologize for being fast. What would his life be life if he were the same in all regards except speed? Does he have speed privilege? Answer - Absolutely he does. Good for him and good of him for maximizing his talent. Is he always going to have world class speed. No.

Be you without apology or guilt.
