The story isn't that [DeSantis] "couldn't win" the primary. The story is that an overwhelming majority of our population is heinously stupid. 50% of them vote for communists. 75% of the remaining 50% vote for Trump, who cant win. Lagoa has a chance to be another Roberts given she's a short-timer in her current position. ACB looks like she's hard core conservative in her rulings, and has had three years to demonstrate that. I would feel better if it was ACB.

Would be awesome as well if he went for the Dark Horse in Rushing. She was born in 1982 and could literally serve for 50 years if she stays on as long as RBG did. Oh, and she is a bonafide conservative that clerked for Gorsuch and Thomas.

Voluntarily choosing not to have children to further ones career isn't a sign of social conservatism.

This is true but I prefer ACB . She's clearly conservative and a constitutionalist. She's 6 yrs younger. If confirmed she'll be the only non-Ivy league trained lawyer on the court. Not much risk she'll become a Roberts.
