It looks like they even had pictures of where everyone was for him to call on. When he first holds up the paper it looks like darker squares spaced all over the sheet.

He was looking at a seating chart likely with names and numbers because his teleprompter answers are in order of the questions that would be asked. So first was ABC Mary who probably gave her question in advance to Joe's campaign people. What would be hilarious is if he got the order wrong and read the answer to a completely different question from the prompter.

A real Q&A would have the reporters just firing off their questions randomly.

I was listening on the live stream and I noticed at one point he was asked by a reporter about the availability of the virus for everyone and I kind of did a double-take because it didn't make sense. If Biden had been listening I think like most people, he would have clarified she meant vaccine and not virus. But Joe just jumped right in with an answer about a vaccine without missing a beat. It sure seemed to be scripted because he's just not that quick.
