I expect there to be a lot of disruption at the polling sites by radical leftists. Good thing my pollig place is next door to a police station in a conservative suburb. Hopefully they will have the manpower to shut down any marxist agitators and keep the voting going unhindered.
Thuggist BS at the polls hasn't been around in this country since the KKK.

That would be a bold move, and would not go over well with anyone.

Current Speaker of the House becomes president on Jan 20th if there is no elected president by then. No ifs ands or buts.
The Speaker of the House is selected on January 3, 2021. That is the date a new Congressional session begins. The House Officers are the only one who remain in their position. Those are the Chaplain, Clerk, Chief Administration Officer and the Sargeant-at-Arms.

Pelosi won't become President because she is no longer Speaker of the House.
Yeah, I meant current as of Jan 20, 2021.

She could be speaker again, potentially. But it is the speaker at the time. My language was confusing.
That would make the fight for the speakership something to behold, regardless of which party has the House.

This is a Federal Election. Why should there not be rules?

why not, "Oh the City of El Paso wants to have hear say elections. Thus, if you send a text to xxx-xxx-xxxx you can vote"

There are rules the states just get to set them in most cases. Congress can override or make their own rules, but election reform is basically a pipe dream in the current congress.
