AP'S ASSESSMENT: False. No charges for sexual assault of a child have surfaced against Blake. Social media posts with these claims are shared without evidence. Blake was charged with third-degree sexual assault in Wisconsin in July for an incident that did not involve a minor.

THE FACTS: After police shot Blake several times in the back in Kenosha, Wisconsin, sparking outrage and protests nationwide, some social media users sought to call Blake's character into question with false claims about his criminal record.

This is in the formal criminal complaint by the victim.

That is rape.

So, your (b)itch is someone indicating "14 year old girl" and you state "little girl" and your fact check states false.

So, if it's rape, why draw a line at 14/little girl versus female. Rape is rape.

You need to see a freakin shrink dude.

Regarding being shot 7 times. If the criminal doesn't understand the word "stop" being used by the policeman (and obviously he doesn't because the rape victim likely used that word too) then the criminal needed to be "stopped" and the police did the best they could.

Regardless, you need to get some mental health attention.

Of course. As long as he also fought with cops and then tried to stab them, and then after telling them he was going to get a gun out of his car, reached for something in a place where guns are usually kept.

You don't seem to understand no one died for being an accused rapist and no street justice was handed out for him sexually assaulting a woman while her child was next to her. He fought with cops. They had every right to detain him. Instead he decided to be an idiot by putting 3 children in harm's way.

It's always "he was shot in the back." Like that's the first thing the cops did.

Never mind that he had a knife, resisted arrest, wrestled with cops, was tased, refused orders with guns drawn on him and then decided to reach into his car for who knows what.

Same with Michael Brown. "His hands were up."

Okay, 7 times is too much. Once in the head should have sufficed. Save 6 good rounds of ammo.

2. If he's forbidden by law to be there
3. If he then fights cops with a knife
4. If he goes to a car to steal, while the cops have a gun pointing at him
5. If, after two taser shots, still gets in the car to steal

That looks like an account of someone who was there.

the focus on the number of shots is absurd. Was the officer justified in shooting once? Yep. Then the officer is justified in continuing to fire until he/she believes the threat has been neutralized. The lionizing of this criminal is just sickening.

To be clear sexual assault/rape is horrific no matter who it happens to and perpetrators that commit such heinous crime should be be punished severely... And I do mean severely (keeping it rated G for mods).

However the statements that he "raped a girl" or he "raped a 14yr (or 15 yr) old" claim he sexually assaulted a minor. What evidence suggests these "sexual assault of minor" claims? Does he have a warrant, been arrested, or charged charged with sexual assault of minor? If so, great, show me the police records, court records of this. Otherwise it seems he is being charged and had a warrant for sexually assaulting ex-wife (I assume both were adults when these infractions occurred but correct me if I'm wrong) and it is being fused into he sexually assaulted a 14 or 15 yr old girl.

And before anyone says "he raped a his ex-wife what's the difference", the difference is one is true the other isn't (at least based on evidence and warrant out for arrest). The original statements on this thread and others is that he raped 14 (or 15) year old girl ("girl" also implies the person is the adolescent version of a female as opposed to woman which is the adult version of a woman).

I do not believe this statement to be true given the public evidence. He may be guilty of a number of things including sexual assault of his ex-wife but he is innocent of raping a 13 or 14 year old thus far given that I don't see any evidence that he committed the sexual assault of a minor

CLAIM: Jacob Blake, the Black man who police shot multiple times in Wisconsin on Sunday, was once charged for raping a teenage girl.

AP'S ASSESSMENT: False. No charges for sexual assault of a child have surfaced against Blake. Social media posts with these claims are shared without evidence. Blake was charged with third-degree sexual assault in Wisconsin in July for an incident that did not involve a minor.

THE FACTS: After police shot Blake several times in the back in Kenosha, Wisconsin, sparking outrage and protests nationwide, some social media users sought to call Blake's character into question with false claims about his criminal record.

Many of these posts suggested without evidence that Blake was a child rapist, pedophile or child abuser.

"Maybe the almost $1 million dollars in gofundme donations for Jacob Blake should be given to the 14 year old girl he raped instead," read one tweet, which others shared on Facebook and Instagram.

A third post viewed more than 86,000 times on Facebook used a meme from the television sitcom "The Office" to argue police wouldn't have shot Blake if he "was still in prison for raping the 14 year old."

Several posts also shared a graphic of a statute that appeared to define third-degree sexual assault as "sexual penetration with another person over the age of fourteen (14) years and under the age of consent, sixteen (16) years of age.

These posts are false. Blake was charged with third-degree sexual assault in Wisconsin, but it did not involve a minor, according to a criminal complaint published by the fact-checking website Snopes.

Online court records show that Kenosha County prosecutors charged Blake with sexual assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse on July 6. An arrest warrant was issued on July 7. The records do not list an attorney for Blake.

According to Snopes, the woman involved in that incident was Blake's ex-girlfriend, with whom he shares three children.

The statute being shared on social media that defines third-degree sexual assault as sex with a minor is from Rhode Island law, not Wisconsin law.

In Wisconsin, where Blake was charged, the definition for third-degree sexual assault does not include sex with a minor.

Focusing on a point such as number of shots is a typical tactic of those trying to shift accountability away from the individual initiating the entire sequence of events. People with no experience in emergency response / law enforcement type situations are first and most vocal to judge. My experience has been those are the first to wet their pants / deer in head lights / start crying when crap gets real.

So strange how libbies have collective amnesia....

I dont know why people question 7 shots. Likely with better training it would have been 10-15 shots. 7 shots is a split second. You continue to shoot until the threat is nuetralized and when you observe the threat is nuetralized there is a delay. This is normal sensory & biomechanical processes. It also did not matter if there was a knife or not. A percieved deadly threat by the shooting officer is enough to justify the shoot especially given all the conditions leading up to that moment. And for those of you who dont think a knife represents a deadly threat and lethal force response look up knife attacks and the 21' knive vs gun rule.

I can find nothing in court records about Blake raping a child. He does seem to be a part of the new death cult among some blacks who feel they have to resist arrest regardless of the circumstances. How hard is it to comply? I bet everyone on this board has been pulled over/stopped by law enforcement at one time or another, and we are still breathing and happily typing away here because we did the right thing.

Guys, it's hard to keep all of these violent leftist rapists straight. It was the bald midget who got taken out by Rittenhouse who was the child rapist. Blake just repeatedly raped his ex girlfriend. Let's all make sure we're being super fair about the specific type of depraved degeneracy we're referring to here.
