I have seen so many rioters in nasa gear, from all over. It is so incongruous it jumps out at me. The first couple just made me think, 'that's really weird'....but they keep showing up.

I've noticed this as well.

They are just old NASA t-shirts that they give to the poor people. Just like they give Superbowl t-shirts of the losing team to kids in third world countries.

We lived in Romania for a few years and it was a staple in every souvenir shop. Never made sense to me but saw people everywhere wearing NASA gear. It is like the NY Yankees hat of T-shirts.

Noticed this awhile ago. Seems similar to "I <3 NY" shirts.

NASA shirts do seem to be everywhere and mostly on left leaning types. Although I would wear a NASA shirt no problem and I am on the right.

Unless it is leftist code for something I don't see a reason to care.

Yeah, they sell them in the graphic tee displays at Kohls, Target, WalMart, etc.

Most of these *******s probably got them from looting stores like that.

Okay now that I think about it this, the wearing of NASA gear does seem to be correlated with leftist beliefs, and a few acquaintances come to mind. Maybe some kind of subconscious group trend.

It's a fad, kind of like the Levis's shirts were a couple years back. Also I think it's a way for these otherwise very dumb rioters to say "I'm smart!" Without opening their mouths and giving away that they actually aren't.

We went to Spain a little over a year ago. Every 3rd person we saw under the age of 30 had on a NASA shirt, and many tourists from all over the world.
