Using the gun to the light the fire and him waving and shooting in the train scene at the end...I lost it.

If you think about it, magic wands could be just as deadly as guns, everyone over the age of 12 carried a wand, and nobody thought twice about banning wands at Hogwarts.

Harry's scar is the equivalent of a gunshot wound that healed........ nobody blamed the wand, but only the wizard that used the wand.
