Based on the original French study on HCQ, zinc, and Z-Pac this doctor is correct.
In a pandemic it is unethical to demand double blinded controlled trials on drugs with known safety profiles and strong anecdotal evidence of good efficacy.
Covid has two phases. The first week is mainly viral. This is the phase that where HCQ is effective.
After a week or so the disease becomes immunological. HCQ is not very effective in this second phase.

Drugs that modulate the immune response help in this phase. Like monoclonal antibodies.
The fact that treatment decisions have become politicized is beyond unfortunate.

No, Fox News.

Jokes aside, here is her website, please read it in all its glory: https://archive.fo/G7wtb

So you no longer believe in the freedom of religion in the first amendment? Should we discredit all Catholics from working with the public because many also believe in spiritual warfare?

Does HCL work or not? Crazy or whatnot, her video intrigues me. I want to know if this stuff really works and if so why is it not being used? I'm tired of COVID and if this stuff works then let's start using it.

Why not go with Yale epidemiologist rather than the Warrior who says Jesus will take down Facebook or that there's a demonic world order and Illuminati if you're trying to sway anyone outside of the chosen?

This seems like a pretty unbiased synopsis of where things stand with HCQ

That's really not where we stand.

A doctor posted in this thread about when it works. Its not when it becomes immunological, which is what those studies were about.

here is a pretty unbiased synopsis of where things stand with HCQ:

Quote:

As professor of epidemiology at Yale School of Public Health, I have authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications and currently hold senior positions on the editorial boards of several leading journals. I am usually accustomed to advocating for positions within the mainstream of medicine, so have been flummoxed to find that, in the midst of a crisis, I am fighting for a treatment that the data fully support but which, for reasons having nothing to do with a correct understanding of the science, has been pushed to the sidelines. As a result, tens of thousands of patients with COVID-19 are dying unnecessarily. Fortunately, the situation can be reversed easily and quickly.

On May 27, I published an article in the American Journal of Epidemiology (AJE) entitled, "Early Outpatient Treatment of Symptomatic, High-Risk COVID-19 Patients that Should be Ramped-Up Immediately as Key to the Pandemic Crisis." That article, published in the world's leading epidemiology journal, analyzed five studies, demonstrating clear-cut and significant benefits to treated patients, plus other very large studies that showed the medication safety.

Nah man, you do you, but I'll go with the opinion of someone else that doesn't believe demons are the root of my problems.

I'm a bit curious as to what "frontline" these doctors serve on where they're successfully treating all these COVID patients.

Three of them are ophthalmologists.

One owns a chain of sports medicine surgical centers.

One is a medical school professor and policy researcher.

One is a neurologist that deals with alzheimers patients.

One is a child psychologist and expert witness for hire.

Their main booster, Simone Gold, does appear to actually be trained in emergency medicine, and she claims to manage an inner-city LA hospital treating 150 emergency patients/day but no one can confirm where she works. She has posted videos standing in front of Cedars-Sinai but they say they have no records of her. Several MD rating websites indicate an affiliation with Centinela Medical Center but they say she doesn't work there and she's not on their website. A former website of hers advertises services as a medical concierge (i.e. doctor kept on retainer for rich people).

If you want to criticize this Dr as crazy that's fine but there are many other esteemed Drs who are saying the same thing and studies are proving it out. If her facts are wrong then go after them but attacking her personally for having some unconventional religious beliefs while not denying anything she is saying on the subject at hand isn't a good argument.

Not attacking her stance, moreso as I don't think you want her to be on the forefront of your group preaching their findings. Why? Because I'm much less likely to take a person serious if they're over here preaching lord knows what. You get where I'm coming from?

You sure seem to be the skeptic any time a thread exists that might validate something Trump said.

Yet, I don't see you questioning policies put forth by Democrats.

No. I don't take anyone who says that my premature ovarian failure is a result of me having sex while I sleep with aliens. If that was the case, the sex would be much better

Didn't doctors on the cornoboard talk about good result with hydrox-zinc-zpack combination in March?

This isn't anything new, it is just corrupt politicians and a corrupt media trying to steal an election and possibly steal money from sick Americans.

With burying this kind of information, destruction of lives with endless shutdowns, and encouraging riots in the streets, and even political executions, such as what happened in Milwaukee, Democrats are proving that they are willing to sacrifice lives of innocent Americans to gain their political power.

Please remind me who are the fascists?

The Republican governor Abbott is definitely a fascist. Why do conservatives voters elect fascists?

Abbott isn't promoting riots and political assassinations, although he seems all for the Covid shutdowns.

I don't think so. I get on the politics for spurts, so I doubt I'm on the thread anytime Mr. Trump says something questionable

Her claim of treating >350 without a single loss should be very easy to check. Why haven't the detractors done so?

Definitely hurts her credibility. But she could still be telling the truth about treating her patients.

How would this be checked? Her claim is all the evidence she has provided.

Do we walk into her strip mall clinic out in Katy and ask to thumb through her patient records to verify COVID diagnoses and treatment protocols? "I don't care what HIPAA says, Doc, I've got to prove a point on TexAgs."

Why do Dems/leftists/liberals require hero worship? Why does someone smart in any field mean they must be smart in all fields?

Maybe it just means I'll take my medical advice from a doctor, religious advice from my pastor, legal advice from my lawyer, football strategy advice from my coach, training advice from a trainer, creativity advice from an artist, acting advice from an actor, financial advice from a financial planner, and political strategy advice from a politician.

If she's lying about treating Covid patients and recovery rates, then she's discredited. And if she's the only one touting this treatment then let's move on.

Yeah, those other statements are looney. Otherwise, if I need Covid treatment I'm going to someone who will treat me as she described.

Soooo you're saying they should be climatologists instead or is that the only field that gets to use groups of highly educated people in unrelated areas?

Can you prove the opposite? I mean, we are talking about a virus that is largely survivable.
