It's kind of crazy he fell victim to the movement.
Turner and Hooch sucked, but no more than many an embarrassing 80s flick. Moreover Hanks is disgustingly wholesome in his personal life.
Trying to make Tom Hanks a perverse figure in need of rehabilitation might be the most subversive thing the anon movement has done. The "why" of it is almost immaterial.
Future proves past assuming he does some off brand flick down the road.
He's liberal, therefore guilty.
No that usually only goes against the conservatives. People are always quick to believe bad things about them and liberals get many many chances in many cases not afforded others. look towards Biden for that example. Most liberals can basically say whatever vile things about people they want too and the media and no one holds them accountable. See Debra Messing, Alec Baldwin, although he starting to get some karma back on him for his voice, and many of the people in our Congress.
That said I don't believe this about Tom Hanks.
