If the CDC had any snap they would have started asking some hard questions of the reporting entities a long time ago because it is statistically impossible to have 405 postives to 0 negatives. My guess is they figured no one would ever take time to review the list. Kudos to whoever in the Trump administration caught the malfeasance and is holding them to account. Just another deep state angle to slant the numbers in order to hurt the Trump administration.

What is happening is that labs are ONLY reporting their positive test results. They are not reporting the negative results. This skews the positivity rate but does not skew the actual # of positives.

well that's bull**** too because Abbott is all about the positivity rate. He's all upset right now about hospitalizations (which can be BS as we have heard, you can have cover but go to the hospital for something else), deaths (bogus also, die from something else but have covid equals a covid death) and now this crap that skews the positivity rate big time.

All three big stats that Abbott cites as reasons for his tyranny, mask mandates, etc, are bogus. Hospital, deaths, positivity rate.

But negative tests, total tests, positivity etc etc ARE CRUCIAL METRICS.

If you can't report properly they shouldn't report anything. And despite listing everything from stubbed toes to gunshot victims as a COVID death, we're still barely dying from this.

Page 29 and after several really high %ages some 100%.

I'd be interested to see someone rerun the rate with out the labs near 100%. The ones on that report with those numbers don't seem to be contributing the high counts. This also means total case counts are understated.

They were links connected to several of the articles I read... wasn't too worried about the numbers...the national guard statement from the WhiteHouse told me this was serious and that the problems are real regarding the CDC not being honest.
