At least Broussard always came across as a nice guy; one you could have a discussion with even if you didn't agree. Anderson always came across as a jackass.

One history professor I had always said that the administration's goal for A&M was to turn it into "Berkeley on the Brazos" and that the facility was already as liberal as Berkeley's (this was in 2000).


Anderson is a first class *******. I can't believe that ****stick is still there.

I actually took a Texas History course at UTA a few months ago(didn't finish my degree at A&M). This stuff is par for the course apparently. It was very eye opening. The entire course was heavily slanted.

It was an easy A once I learned that standards of academic rigor were only applied to positions that did not follow established narrative. I could write all kinds of unsubstantiated stuff with no citation whatsoever, and the Prof never so much as raised an eyebrow. As long as it fell in line. Anything even remotely out of step was challenged even when backed with citation.

I figured it was because it was a second rate school, but I guess the profs at A&M are the same these days. Amazing that they start by hitting us over the head with their academic integrity, and then flush it down the drain within a couple of paragraphs.

Unfortunately if you want the truth you sure as sht don't start with the professors at any university. The whole college experience has changed from an education to an indoctrination. These people are tools.

The engineering classes I took were useful and necessary for me to actually do something with my life. The other mandatory crap was largely useless and politically driven. It will be the downfall of upper education.

The gist I get is some people did bad things, and Ross was somewhere in Texas and part of some of the organizations when it happened and so he is obviously guilty.

At some point, these history doctorates are going to remember they tend to be amongst the lower middle IQ Range of college graduates With advanced degrees and they are locking horns with people that far outmatch them intellectually. Many doctorates consisted of essentially the willingness to borrow money and something approaching obsessive compulsive disorder.

Again, college professors like them are not smart. They master the ability to do what is expected of them, not to use intellectual curiosity. They are some of the dumbest people who walk our campus.
