I dont like Trump as president. But if you think the GOP is "ruined" because of Trump, you haven't been paying attention to the last 115 years. Progressives, starting with Teddy R. all the way to McCain, have done far worse. Reagan was simply an 8 year mixed bag stop to the madness and rhetorical oasis showing us what we can aim for.
