Perhaps to a lesser degree. They have far less institutional enabling. You wouldn't have to see lie after lie, unsubstantiated this or that, one after another, always having to backtrack, with something genuine. How Obamacare was rammed through on lies is the best recent example. This impeachment started on inauguration day of 2017, there is not much escaping that. In fact, it began the year before. In general its the state of everything going on along the Beltway-Manhattan axis. Some is just worse than others. Their behavior and policies this century shows that clearly. Only a few older and some of the newer young guns are working for the national interest from the highest places. Its the middle and lower tiers that retain some good.
