And yet there are still, to this day, idiots who will tell you "racists" are more likely to be white people. Or that "white supremacy" is a significant concern.

If you live in the present day, and not the ancient past, racism today is indeed a problem. But the vast majority of racism is anti-white racism, with a sprinkle of anti-Asian racism added in. And the vast majority of todays racism sources from Black people, plus a few fast followers from Hispanic people taking their cues from the Black racist leaders.


It is crazy how blatant and public black racists now feel comfortable being with their racist points of view. They feel zero risk and zero consequence from shouting racist ideals from their respective platforms.

Which is the biggest skill I try to teach my kids. Constant alertness, don't be naive and don't let your innate desire to help others blind you to the red flags. Often the difference in being a victim or not are the split second judgements like "should I stop" and you cannot presume everyone has good intent.

The instant red flags on this one were (1) he chose a place with low visibility (2) he chose a place where exit paths are limited (3) he kept his face covered and (4) he never stopped walking towards the biker, getting as close as he was allowed to get. That should have been enough to go into immediate avoidance actions.

If it's real I certainly hope the biker shot this predator. The world would be better off. However, the gun is a last ditch effort and only rarely changes the outcome. Alertness is a much more important tool, and in my opinion this biker appears to have failed it.


Problem is he would to shoot the perpetrator in the back, and in commiefornia, very likely to lose a decade of his life. Better to let the bike go. Agree that avoidance is the best policy, and there is no reason to stop to help on the side of the road or an alleyway with the availability of phones and emergency people to help quickly these days.

I see it all the time in mountain roads. There's a speed limit. There are recommendations for curves. A lot of people think those are speed limit signs is all. My apologies for offending your intelligence.
