The problem is that this generation does not care whether something is truth or lies, they have been taught to seek that which is good or bad which is an interpretation.

We had a speaker in church who has done a mountain of research on generation Z (zoomers), Gen Y, X, on up to boomers about a year ago. The example he gave is that if we proved scientifically, historically, absolutely without question that Jesus Christ was in fact born of the Virgin Mary, lived for 33 years, performed exactly the miracles called out in the Bible, was betrayed and crucified and rose on the 3rd day, and ascended into Heaven after another month, and there was no dispute of the facts whatsoever, the current generation would simply shrug, and look it up on Google to see if that was a good thing or a bad thing.

Truth has been exchanged for "does this make me feel good or sad"? Of course, the wicked and evil take advantage of this.
