The parents are getting a lot of blowback for this, with many commentators online slamming them for not accepting their daughters' losses and moving on gracefully.

Me? I don't blame them in the slightest.
We live in a world where officials are perfectly happy to let boys compete against girls no questions asked.
In virtually every case, this results in girls being completely sidelined, having athletic opportunities stolen from them after a lifetime of hard work, sweat and determination.

If you're a parent of a female athlete and you think your daughter may have been trounced by a boy playing dress-up and masquerading as a girl, of course you're going to want that investigated. That's perfectly normal!

This is going to keep happening until transgender activists stop trying to ruin girls' sports. It's their choice.

It's not going to stop. The left is fully intent on destroying girls sports by facilitating their takeover by JV level men. It's no different than their efforts to eliminate minority faces from food brands. It has to be intentional. How else do you explain them arriving at a place exactly opposite of their stated goal? We're watching the marginalization of women and it's being supported by a substantial portion of women.
