This is where so many of them screw up. I saw one arguing with a teacher saying "I prefer the pronouns they and them." In reality, if they REALLY thought that way, they/them would surely be saying, "OUR pronouns are they/them." And "WE prefer the pronouns they/them." But they almost always say I, me, my when referring to themselves which is clearly singular and puts the lie to their preferences.
