Encryption is easy, that's backoffice stuff. Millions of iPhones already doing it. The waste, in shipping at least, is in all the duplication of work/recordkeeping/time spent by vendors, shippers, govt agencies, delivery services, etc.

Now the coin miners is a different story. Apparently thats a lot squirrels chasing a few tiny nuts...
