This election cycle was about the Dems taking their working class and rural farm and union bases totally for granted for 8 years, and bashing and ripping on them as uneducated yokels over and over in increasingly public fashion, and getting caught doing it more in private, and focusing completely on radical special interests and identity politics and Wall Street. It was about the Dems selecting to side with policies that were killing jobs in these states even faster than technology already was chipping away at them, and failing to help with realistic alternatives.

The near complete focus on circular insular coastal enclaves dismissive of outside ideas and information and dogmatic challenges finally made them pay.

Race relations hasn't changed since the mid 60's - Obama in charge just raised your level of concern!
That's is a bunch of bullshyte. It's always been here, but you go back to any elections in the past 30 years and race was not a frontrunner.

Obama made race relations worse than they've been in decades. To say otherwise is either naive or stupid.

Being white in America is hard. I don't know how anybody succeeds facing such challenges.

I'm new here, but I have a question for the democrats.

Would it matter who the republican candidate was, or were you going to play the race/women/immigration etc card regardless of a republican candidate being elected?
Good point. It doesn't matter who the Rs nominate, Democrats will always demonize them.

I see the mindless leftist socks have made their way out of the cry-in and puppy/coloring rooms to poke their heads out again.

I won't mention names but there is a particular individual on this thread that this meme was made for:

You just can't get through to some people no matter what proof or facts or evidence is given.

...has backfired in epic fashion. Obama and his administration had a tremendous opportunity to try and unite this country but chose not to. Their followers felt the need to cry wolf (pull the race card) anytime someone else had a differing viewpoint/opinion.

Well, the majority just stood up and said eff you and all of your bull****. We are not the problem you are. You've got no one to blame but yourselves.

Obama didn't divide people, racists like Donald Trump who couldn't get over the fact that Obama was born here did.
