...has backfired in epic fashion. Obama and his administration had a tremendous opportunity to try and unite this country but chose not to. Their followers felt the need to cry wolf (pull the race card) anytime someone else had a differing viewpoint/opinion.

Well, the majority just stood up and said eff you and all of your bull****. We are not the problem you are. You've got no one to blame but yourselves.

The Shame Whitey strategy works well on young sheltered suburban whites indoctrinated in government "schools" and living on someone else's dime

But for the older blue collar whites struggling mightily with real life, being told your problems don't matter and that you have too much privilege and refusing to just sit down, shut up and automatically vote dem makes you a racist and sexist?

Epic backfire

Whitey pays for everything, yet it's always their fault.

If there was ever a race to be proud of, it would be the white race.

Much like other races, most non SJW whites are proud of their race, and dont like being called hateful things for having different well founded opinions. I would urge everyone to stop taking whites for granted and continue poking us with a stick.

Not really what I meant. I think they were just tired of all the BS rhetoric.

I'm a white, straight male. I can no more control my race or ancestry than any person on the planet. Being told I'm hateful, racist, have privilege, etc. is bull *****

Yes, this crap is getting old, and doubling down on it because you lost an election is even more stupid. It backfired big time, yet they think more of the same is GOOD for some reason.

They want to be all inclusive...unless you are white...but will give you a pass if you've earned your white guilt merit badge.

Ok - a black man just spent the allowable 8 years in office. Two white people just ran for the upcoming vacancy and one of them won.

And the majority of people protesting are white. ??

Hardy a "white race unity revenge" plight you are making it to be.

Obama didn't divide people, racists like Donald Trump who couldn't get over the fact that Obama was born here did.

Obama was absolutely a divider on chief. He used the racist card whenever he had the chance. Good riddance.

I'll give you an example. Claiming to not know all the facts, but in the same breath declaring the cops acted stupidly.

Believe it or not, I'm not a Trump fan. I'm just tired of the race baiting. It's unnecessary. Hell, I'm giving you a portion of the blueprint to win the next election...don't poke the bear.

And if you don't think Obama has been divisive and polarizing, then you haven't been paying attention.

The point of this thread was to point out that the majority has had enough of the BS rhetoric. So much so that they elected Donald freaking Trump....Let that sink in!!!

Would you call his characterization of the whites who elected Trump as "bitterly clinging to their guns and bibles" as divisive or unitive? Why are you campaigning so hard to be the new KeithDB?

Race relations hasn't changed since the mid 60's - Obama in charge just raised your level of concern!

KeithDB made more sense on most issues; Trump and immigration produced a particularly sharp reaction, but many other posts on other subjects were less carping.

Go read his whole statement, they did act stupidly as the arrest was after they confirmed that it was the professor's house.

OK - In the simplest of terms, the apologetic white guilt liberals are not the same as the majority of whites that voted Trump into office. I apologize for not clarifying the obvious...but you already knew this now, didn't you?
dermdoc
How long do you want to ignore this user?
And the majority of voters did not see Trump as a racist. And seemed to repudiate much of Obama's legacy and policies. The indisputable truth of life that only libs can define racism and sexism still holds true, however, the voters did not agree with the libs definition this election. Sorry.

It was a characterization of the working class in the country, it has nothing to do with race-

Quote:

You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton administration, and the Bush administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations..

Obama was absolutely correct, and they continued falling through the cracks during the Obama administration. He was right and their anti-trade sentiment is just going to dig these people farther into a hole.

So basically these voters are not smart enough to listen to the great Obama and agree with him? And then too dumb to know how to vote for their own self interests? The arrogance just oozes out of libs and they wonder why the lost? Oy vey
dermdoc

Yep they did lose. And the attitude expressed by posters on here explains why they did. And they still don't get it.

yeh right hahahahahahaha lolololololol

No one has done more in last several decades with his inflammatory community organizer rhetoric to divide this country than Barack Obama.
** Obama: "They Bring a KnifeWe Bring a Gun"
** Obama to His Followers: "Get in Their Faces!"
** Obama on ACORN Mobs: "I don't want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I'm angry!"
** Obama to His Mercenary Army: "Hit Back Twice As Hard"
** Obama on the private sector: "We talk to these folks so I know whose ass to kick."
** Obama to voters: Republican victory would mean "hand to hand combat"
** Obama to lib supporters: "It's time to Fight for it."
** Obama: "My administration is the only thing between you and the pitchforks."
** Obama: "I will be happy to see the Republicans test whether or not I'm itching for a fight on a whole range of issues. I suspect they will find I am."
** Obama: "It's tempting not to negotiate with hostage takers"
** Obama: "We're going to punish our enemies"
** Obama: "Those aren't the kinds of folks who represent our core American values."

Kind of like Obama and Obamacare? And we do not know yet what Trump will do or how his policies will affect those folks. But they know what Obama gave them with Obamacare and other policies. And they did not like them. You might even say they wanted some "Hope and Change"?

The whole non-college educated, rural, white male, voter rhetoric is not going to help their cause either.

It's like they literally set out to put a PC label on dumbass redneck and paint a picture of Joe Dirts descending upon the polls in their t-top trans-ams with the confederate flag flying proudly and Skynard blaring loudly.

'MERICA...EFF YEAH!

They just don't get it!!

The voters did not agree with what you are posting. Take it up with them in the 2018 midterms.
