Mitt Romney supporters didnt have the enthusiasm that Trump supporters have. There wasn't the groundswell of anti establishment. Trump set records for votes in a GOP primary cycle. Hillary isn't Obama. Nobody likes her. This is going to be a landslide victory for Trump.

That is what the pollsters are doing to you guys on the RIGHT at this moment. They are doing this so you will tune in to CNN, Fox News, MSNBC..etc and watch the commercials that are on their networks.

This is exactly what happened in 2012. According to the pollsters Romney vs Obama was supposed to be a razor tight election. I remember people on this board thinking that Romney was going to win big and being shocked when he got his ass kicked.

The people hanging their hats on this polling data today are the same people who didn't believe the polling data when Hillary was up as recently as last week.

What has changed in the methodology of the polls or the institutions creating them that has caused this board to become such a believer in polls that they believed were inaccurate only a week ago?

Romney created the template for ObamaCare in RomneyCare and he totally pussed out in the second debate when Candy Crowley lied about about calling Benghazi an act of terrorism. No way in hell would have Trump let chubby roll him like that.

The voters in the United States have liar fatigue in this election that they did not have in 2008 or 2012. You should be smart enough to admit that things that appear similar and not necessarily identical.

The vote is not today so HRC has 5 days to recover....but the current trends are getting worse by the keystroke for her and the momentum is clearly with Trump and those that oppose this filth called the democrat machine. Boss Tweed did not last forever either. Neither will HRC. She will end up in prison if she does not get a presidential pardon. She is more likely to get the pardon if she wins the election and either resigns or last one term in office.

I think you miss two major things in your calculations:

1) Trump has the advantage with "unlikely" voters

2) Trump is not conservative and this appears to be reflected in his supporters. He appeals to many Conservatives because he's not Hillary. He appeals to many Liberals because he is a Liberal.

The structural advantages that the Democrats have is their lack of remorse in cheating. It is rigged. Any non-Democrat has to overcome "The System" which includes media and many county-level election staff members. That may ultimately be enough to keep Trump from winning, but it's not a slam-dunk.

Truth hurts. People see politics as a sporting event and blindly support their side. I don't. Other independents don't. We have that because of our about to parse issues and come to logical conclusions on their own merits.
