Pro Sandy -your welcome. I suggest strongly you read carefully the scriptures concerning the revelation on marriage that Joseph received. They are very insightful.

I find it amusing that many think that a unschooled young man on the western frontier in his early twenties could just come up with this. Especially if you were knowledgeable about all of the other crises in his life going on at the same time.

Correct. Death had not entered the picture as Adam and Eve had not partaken of the forbidden fruit. So when God married them, it was not until death, because there was no death. Adam and Eve were immortal and their marriage was for eternity.
