We had two days of rockets.
One set of rockets killed two 101st soldiers here.

U.S. soldiers killed
Three U.S. soldiers assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, were killed Thursday in the north-central region of Iraq. They were not involved in Operation Swarmer, the U.S. military reported.
One was killed while manning an observation post in Samarra; the other two were killed in an indirect fire attack at Contingency Operating Base Speicher, northwest of Tikrit, the U.S. military said.
Another U.S. soldier was wounded in that second attack.
It's really wild when those things are coming in and everyone's scrambling for bunkers. Chapel this morning was very somber, as most of the members of that chapel are leadership from the 101st and 501st. Just in January, I received 112 study Bibles from the Nils Thompson Memorial Fund for distribution to soldiers.

Chaplain Wysocki (holding the binder) was all excited about it, and asked me to say a few words during the service (Bibles on stage to the left).

They played a DVD of my pics set to music. At the end of the service when the soldiers came through the communion line, Chaplain Wysocki had me stand there and hand out a study Bible to each soldier...that's why I don't have 112 pictures to post on my website about it, sorry to say.
I can only hope those guys were there at the service where I handed out the study Bibles. The Memorial service is set for sometime in the next few days. Everyone in the 101st is talking about it. It could have been any one of us...
Just remember us over here as you go about your daily lives. Whenever the Holy Spirit brings us to mind, just say a short prayer and think about us.
