After I built out my office but before putting in the flooring, I wrote the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel on the floor around the perimeter. I have several religious items on my desk and around the room. I think my "favorite" is an image of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane that is made from the full text of the Gospel of John.

My kids are at a public school here in Central Texas. My wife was up at the school visiting the day before school started this year, and they made an announcement that there would be a prayer meeting in one of the classrooms at 12:00 to pray for the students before the year started. Made me feel good about our community.

I work in a very large (3,000+ people) corporate office and sit on a row with many desks/cubicles. I have a tiny Jesus standing on a wooden Texas A&M football piece, as well as Galatians 6:9 sticky noted onto my monitor. I look at them often. Helps me to not focus on the plethora of pride flags and other non-Christian paraphernalia that's everywhere in this lost place.

Last year I found these drawings done of maps from Pilgrim's Progress and had to have them in my office. I believe the artist has done work for Pixar in the past as well.

I travel for my work so no icons, pics etc. But I hum "What a friend we have in Jesus" when I am doing surgery often. Not sure why that hymn since I never hear it in church these days. But I have had a couple of people ask me what I was humming over the years and it starts a conversation.
