Shawn Ryan has had one of the most successful podcasts in the past 5-6 years, often only second to Joe Rogan. He recently had an interview with Tucker Carlson (not really a fan of him anymore) where he said he is done with the political commentary and interviews. He is thinking of making his entire channel on exploring the Bible with discussions with scholars on the various books. It will be an interesting journey to watch unfold.
He has had exorcists on his podcast in the past. They have suggested to Ryan to stop using psychedelics as they can open doors to things he shouldn't want opened. Apparently, he recently went and did another one of these "trips" that are being popularized and admits he felt/saw Hell. "I'm never touching that again... I'm still dealing with some of the effects".
I started watching the whole interview. I have a hard time listening to Tucker these days but this interview has been really interesting so far. Shawn admits getting wrapped up in his own ego and success. "I'm doing whatever God leads me to do now".
