Has anyone read this book? I have been watching several videos today featuring Tom Holland talking about Christian Revolution.

Here is the video that kicked off this rabbit hole:

The next video:

Currently watching this one:

I'm very intrigued but have several Raymond Ibrahim books to read before taking on another author & books.

I made it about halfway through the audiobook and quit it. It was just a rapid recap of Christian history. I didn't find anything particularly insightful.

OTOH, The WEIRDest People in the World by Henrich blew my mind. If you want to know how Christianity created an entirely novel culture, then that book is much better. It can be a bit technical at times though

Thanks for the response. I will probably read both then. I find some books are better read than audiobook. I do love audiobooks but not listening to as many now that I'm retired. Right now listening to Mark Twain by Ron Chernow and I'm finding it tough to continue.

I read it all the way through. I thought it was a great read, novel or not, to show how Christianity has reshaped a culture, even one that rejects it (spoiler alert for the last few chapters).

I doubt most American Christian's are familiar with the stories, saints, or their history to know how their beliefs have been fashioned.
