I'm in a study group reading The Universal Christ by Fr. Richard Rohr. I know enough about Fr. Rohr (and other members of my group) to know we are talking about "progressive" Christianity but still find our discussions stimulating and respectful. Briefly--as I understand things--the theology of Christ as a presence in the transactions of humankind is compelling. For example I asked a close evangelical friend as to his notion of Christ to which he replied "other people." I guess my problem rests with the dichotomous nature of of human beings with respect to good and evil. That is, how can Christ be incarnate in a world of both?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by his notion of Christ is "other people". Would you clarify?
