Fundamentals are entities or forces that explain the universe or central features of the universe, but are not themselves explained by anything. The force of gravity, or the nuclear forces, or the fundamental particles, are not themselves explained by anything else. They just are. There must be some fundamental forces or entities that explain the universe.

Either that (or those) fundamental entities are impersonal forces, or a person.

If the fundamental explanation of reality is personal, then God exists. In that case, objective meaning and purpose and value are explicable.

If the fundamental explanation are impersonal forces, then there is no objective meaning or purpose or value.
