Why would you think a Christian would not believe in evil/demons in the world? In fact, it's not confined to Christianity but most of the world's religions believe in evil and/or spirits in some sort dwell among us…

And I used to be a skeptic too.

People can claim to have seen these things but I categorize them under evil/demonic spirits with other costumes nonetheless, because of the fear the locals had of them. Evil spirits will test the waters and see what the local people will fear or are prone to fear more. UFOs take in the 1st world's mind moreso than witchcraft will in a 3rd worlds mind. Plenty of reports of UFOS, paranormal, cryptid, et al occurrences happening in a location before one stood out above the rest. Evil/demonic spirits will give you what you're looking for when you go seeking it.
