I'm not ever going to be a fathead about it.
Have no problem saying good luck to people that I don't perceive will receive a Godspeed blessing.

But…Proverbs 16:33 (ESV)

"The lot is cast into the lap,
but its every decision is from the LORD."

Also, we always hear or read people who say something like so and so died well before his time.

But…Psalm 139:16 (ESV)

"Your eyes saw my unformed substance;
in your book were written, every one of them,
the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them."

Jesus explains it this way: "Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground" meaning, die "apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of much more value than the sparrows" (Matthew 10:2931).

1 Samuel 2:6 (ESV)

"The Lord kills and brings to life;
he brings down to Sheol and raises up."

We go when God wants to take us to our fulfilled home.

AG
Agree. But because of free will we can lead an unhealthy lifestyle or undertake risky behaviors that can shorten our days.

Absolutely. No argument against human responsibility but rather establishes it.
