Do I have some Calvinism in my beliefs?

Of course as there are "Calvinist" scriptures.

The problem is that Calvinists tend to emphasis "Calvinist" scripture and disregard "non Calvinist" scripture.

It is like they have a pre conceived idea and select scripture to support that thought process.

I can't seem to ever get Brook Shields out of my head when I read the word Calvinism.

Are you saying scripture contradicts itself?

Scripture is infallible.

I never said it wasn't.

I was talking about the Calvinist interpretation and emphasis on certain Scripture.

There's no "Calvinist" scripture and "non Calvinist" scripture. There's just scripture.

My last post. Promise.

What I am trying to say, and obviously doing a poor job of it, is there are Scriptures that support Calvinism and those that do not seem to.

I believe Calvinists, understandably, focus more on those that support Calvinism.

As I posted earlier, I agree with a lot of Calvinist theology.

To me, the back breaker is double predestination as it does not fit with the character of God as revealed through Jesus.

Shalom.

I said exactly what I believe.

God's grace is available to all.

We can choose to accept it or reject it.

What is difficult to understand in those words?
Concur. Two thieves on a cross...perfect illustration. Choose wisely!
