Then go ahead and show that the promises are made to Israel according to the flesh over and against Israel the people of God. Because that doesn't comport with the writing of St Paul at all.

I'm not saying one over the other. I'm saying it's complex like Jacob having two wives. Rachel (flesh Israelites) and Leah (Church Israelites).

It's either to All Israel, inclusive, or Israel according to the flesh. There is no way that it's only to Israel according to the flesh. So your claim to the holy land is equally as valid as any genetic descendent of Jacob.

And the Church will rule and reign with Jesus on earth. Just as the 12 tribes came from TWO of Jacob's wives (and maidservants) so too can the land promise be fulfilled both to flesh Israelites who have been grafted back in and the body of believers now.

Your premise makes zero consideration for flesh Israelites which is incredibly strong statement I don't think is Biblically supported. What we see both flesh Israelites being cut off and non flesh Israelites being added in. Neither whole sale either way.

I'm not excluding them, that's the point. All Israel includes Israel according to the flesh. You are saying that some promises are exclusively to Israel according to the flesh. That is not consistent with the scriptures.

I haven't said anything like that at all lol. Go back and re read. I'm saying to give zero consideration to flesh Israelites isn't Biblical. Especially considering Roman's 11 that warns Christians of pride over the flesh Israelites who were cut off but will be regrafted.

I'll be honest I'm completely lost. I have no idea what you're trying to assert or where we even disagree any more.

I posted how Romans 11 clearly mentions flesh Israelites will return to God and warns Christians about being prideful over them. You replied and said it has nothing to do with them. Which is what I think Romans is warning about.

you said this

Quote:

it's clear God has a plan for Israel tbe flesh to be grafted back in. And if so it stands to reason that plan also includes land

The second part is the issue. It's complete conjecture to say that there's a special plan for land for Israel according to the flesh.

If the land was promised to Israel. And flesh Israelites will make up Israel. Then they have claim to land. How much idk. But at least some claim. Also consider God gave the land according to tribes. Did that get null n void? Or did we get assigned tribes we accepting Jesus?

I don't have all the answers or claim to know all of it. I'm just advocating for a cautious approach when claiming who is and isn't Gods people and what God may bless them with. Which is the warning Paul writes about. Because those flesh Israelites WILL be grafted back in. The word says so.

So who am I to say or anyone else that have no right over the land? And to the OP. Are we potentially seeing prophecy fulfilled? Potentially so. Time will tell.

Right. In St John's apocalypse all the tribes are restored (with some symbolic exceptions). Those northern tribes came from the gentiles. So if there are claims to the land, as gentile Christians we have as much away as any faithful Israelite according to the flesh. Then you have to ask whether or not there is any inheritance whatever for an unfaithful Israelite according to the flesh.

Ya it's a good question. One I'm not qualified to answer nor do I think many else would be. Hence the warning by Paul.
