Fascinating debate between several Christians vs Muslims. I'm only part way through it but pretty interesting so far. Shout to PBD for the great podcasts he is doing these days. He stayed neutral in moderation and asked great questions to keep the debate moving.

One of the Christians is a convert from Islam. He asked the Muslims directly, "Is it ok to kill me?". Was blown away by the 2 Muslims when they unapologetically stated it was correct and moral to kill an apostate to the Christians face.

I watched segments of it, I'll just say this. I'm not sure "debates" of this kind are helpful. They feel more inciteful than anything and I think it is more helpful when these are scholarly debates focused on specific topics. I'm also not sure many Muslims would consider either one of these guys as great representatives.

Islam is a tough thing to crack in terms of evangelism. If people are wanting a true perspective on the difficulties that Muslims face in conversion, read Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus by Nabeel Qureshi. It goes way beyond theological arguments, although devout Muslims are taught apologetics at a young age. The cultural, familial and ethnic barriers are enormous. When a devout Muslim converts, it is huge cost to them as they will break almost every meaningful relationship they've had since childhood.

I also highly recommend watching Dr. James White of Alpha Omega Ministries scholarly debate several Islamic scholars as well on a variety of topics like the deity of Christ, The Trinity, Scriptural integrity, etc. These are real debates with structure, cross examination, remarks, etc and much more productive in understanding the differences on each side.

There is data available suggesting this may be moot as both religions were created/maintained by extraterrestrials. Perhaps one species is responsible for the formation of Islam, the other Christianity? Perhaps the better question?

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is not only extraterrestrial, but extradimensional and extrachronoligical, existing outside space and time.

Not according to the data.

Which shows that yes, Sodom and Gomorrah is MUCH more than simply a myth. It wasn't a loving being existing outside of space and time that took out those 2 cities...including the children..

No man, woman or child dies while Elohim was distracted or sleeping. Every death for all times and places, both young and old, are at precisely the time and manner that Elohim causes. Being killed by the sword is no less caused by Elohim than being killed by cancer. You may or may not consider that loving by the definition you see through your eyes, but it is by an Elohim who is supremely sovereign.

Edit to add I wish the Christians in that video would have responded like this to their question as to whether killing children is moral. It is moral for a sovereign God to orchestrate this however He chooses, but it is not moral for sinful man to take on such a task without being commanded by that God.

Elohim, niphilim....all simply beings from other star systems.

Ask Jimmy:

Quote:

Quote:
"Yes, the incident of Jimmy Carter crying after being briefed about classified information regarding UFO's is largely believed to be true by the serious researchers on the subject. As a forewarning, the following information is very unsettling and will explain why Carter never "kept his promise" of revealing classified UFO information to the public.
According to the story that was corroborated by more than one witness, U.S. presidents are only given a cursory overview of the subject. Apparently, the CIA runs the program, only provide information to the President on a need-to-know basis, and do not consider presidential curiosity as sufficient need to know. This was implemented after Kennedy, and all presidents after him have been given only summary briefings (some presidents for unknown reasons were given more than others).
Okay on to your question. President Carter is a deeply religious man who had also witnessed a UFO with 6 other people. Everyone thought that he would be the one to finally release UFO info to the public but as the story goes, he was repeatedly stonewalled. Eventually, the CIA had "the talk" with him, and afterward it was reported that he sunk his head in his hands and not only began to deeply sob but was visibly disturbed for some weeks afterward.
What was he told and shown?
He was told that the major religions including Christianity were programs created by extraterrestrials to prevent us from destroying ourselves while they ran their experiments on us and that they made us. At this moment it became clear to Carter that such information could cause tremendous economic and social upheaval. I should add that I am not only a Christian but a clergyman, so I am in no way attempting to promote atheism here. In fact, how God fits into this might be an interesting separate post. Nevertheless, these are the facts as I know them to be".
- Ed Harris Former Research Associate at NASA Ames Research Center
Author and world's leading UFO researcher Richard Dolan also writes about this incident in his book "UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed. According to his book, there are claims that President Carter was given a UFO briefing at the White House on June 14, 1977, which he was then bound to secrecy about.

Jay Smith (Christian apologist/evangelist) has studied Islam extensively and spoken about his research in many different forums, including Speaker's Corner in London. If you are interested in this topic, I would suggest checking him out.

Afshin Ziafat is the lead pastor at Providence Church in Frisco, TX. He comes from an Iranian family and converted to Christianity at great cost to him personally. His testimony is powerful.

Haqiqatjou and Brancatella are both Athari Salafis, and do not represent mainstream Sunni thought (Ashari and Maturidi thought) - and I say this as a Shi'a. Both of them have been exposed by classical Sunni scholars in debates in the past year, though I try to stay out of the alt-right Muslim dudebro proselytization sphere and any news about them.
