I was hoping to get recommendations for a Catholic Church in the Lake Highland area. Thank you for any help. God Bless.

I've heard good things about Good Shepherd (colleyville) and St. Thomas Aquinas (highland park)

Seek a place where hearts gather to worship in spirit and truth. A congregation that uplifts and supports, where the teachings align with love, compassion, and the reverence for God's word. As you search, remember that the body of believers is a reflection of unity in diversity, bound by faith and a shared devotion to the divine. Pray for guidance, and the Father shall direct thee to a community where thy soul may find solace and growth.

Thanks for all the recs. We were able to celebrate Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas and were very impressed by the church and its parishioners. We felt very welcome and the music was great. Sounds like they are getting a new or revamped organ and I expect it will be even more magnificent. I didn't get the priest's name but he had a long beard. I kind of wish he would have sung the whole mass. He had an amazing voice.

Father John Libone.....fantastic Pastor. He has knack for diving deep enough into theology to stretch the understanding of your typical layperson (ie. me) while keeping the message relevant and relatable. Was a major factor in kindling my desire to start putting time/effort into growing my understanding of our faith.

I also highly recommend the St. Thomas Aquinas school if you've got younger kids. We put our older x2 through elementary there before moving to Austin. Very active Church Community that supports the school....and vice versa.
