Does inadmissible equal immoral/evil?

I know the pope is playing word games. I wish he would stop. But even he realizes he can't actually change the historical teaching.

Fr. Jason Charron spells out the difference that must be made as to when the Pope is discussing a spiritual matter as opposed to a social matter. Additionally, discusses prior processes that have been in place for removal of a sitting Pope and the problems that that mechanism presents.

Q1: is this pope in alignment on all significant positions with past popes?
A1: no
Q2: did God change?
A2: no
Q3: which pope(s) were wrong?
A3: all who have been conformed to this world rather than having been transformed to reflect God's desire

It's that simple. Popes have been, and are, imperfect sinners. Just as Paul was. So if you serve God & view the pope as a caretaker of the church, then you call a spade a spade when the pope f's up. But you cannot serve 2 masters: you must pick either God or the pope. The goal is for them to be aligned, but as 1 of them is God and the other a man - disparities exist.

This pope is an outspoken historical outlier in many social positions for which scripture is pretty damn clear. In a 2000 year old tradition, that's a big red flag. Especially when said social positions align with forces who are anti-God.

The sooner this pope dies, the better.

No it does not. He is pointing out that it (death penalty) is not needed anymore as it was in the past. Someone posted that he said it was "immoral" and he has not to my understanding. What may be immoral is taking vengeance out of the hands of God, and using the death penalty as a substitute.

"Vengeance is mine, says the Lord." (Deuteronomy 32:35)

Another counter to some who think the Pope is short cutting the magisterial process regarding homosexual acts, he has clarified repeatedly that it is a "sin." What he has said, to the African Church, is that it is "not a crime."

I would put to you that the Pope is completely within his mantle to opine on whether or not homosexual or heterosexual fornication is a sin. I do think his ability to determine whether or not it is a "crime" is a bridge too far.

I have always noted our first and perhaps greatest Pope; St Peter, committed the gravest and most shocking of all the crimes: denying Christ 3 times during one his most dire moments of need. Anything Pope Francis does would fall short of that; so we need charity when we think of our dear Holy Father.

I will say however that there are many days I wish that the Pope was merely Fr.Jorge, Chaplain at Buenos Aires Children's hospital. There he could be free to show the love and mercy of Christ without any of the weight of the Church on his shoulder or worry about theological or doctrinal questions. I am sure he wishes this as well

That's a rather bold assumption. But people don't accept nominations unless they think themself appropriate for the role. This ******* clearly thinks he's in the right - just like lesbian Methodist "pastors" think they're in the right.
