All I know is they avg 47 and had more than avg and the dodgers lead the league in avg attendance.

So I don't think both sides are being disingenuous. They had a good crowd. Fact is, most people don't give two sh*ts about what group was being honored on that night.

I will agree that all this had little affect one way or the other on the attendance Friday night nor will it affect the overall Dodger attendance this season one iota.

Now will you at least acknowledge that weekend games will likely have more fans in attendance than midweek games? That games against rivals will likely have more fans in attendance than games against lets say the Kansas City Royals? By the way the game Saturday night had 51,000+
