To my fellow Christians, do you believe in demons and that they are among us?

No, it had nothing to do with him and everything to do with you. Specifically you presenting five photos taken from a video feed as evidence of demon possession. That's ridiculous, and should be mocked.

You've got a bad habit of letting politics inform your political beliefs. You see demons behind Peter Strzok's photos because of the political situation he's involved in.

I don't know anything about him.
But you know enough about him to mock me for believing that he is under demonic influence.

That's fine. You do you.

No. You stated he looked as though he were under demonic possession in those pictures. You accused someone you've likely never met of demonic possession based on those selectively chosen screenshots.

It was silly, at best. Sinful, at worst. You're in no position to make such a statement.

A good stout should clear that right up.

I just saw your post, sorry - I don't think the split between people who will believe in demons or not is a Christian vs non-Christian distinction, but a modern or materialist worldview vs a more classical or ancient one. There's a ton of cognitive dissonance involved with modernist Christians. You see it play out with a disbelief in miracles, or a kind of special pleading that miracles were only for a time and not for now (in spite of no scriptural evidence for such a belief).

The thing about reverse engineering is a bit incorrect. No one was an atheist in the ancient world, not in the modern sense. If you read the classics, something like Herodotus, you'll find that they were quite happy to agree that your god of war and my god of war were the same thing by another name, and so on. It isn't at all that the other groups had it wrong... they were quite right.

To say they were all wrong means they were worshipping nothing. They were imagining things, being superstitious yokels, idiots blathering on about spiritual nonsense.

I'm saying they were quite right. They worshipped real things. Their religious beliefs were related to reality. But their picture of reality was distorted... the Most High God (which they believed in) was of course real, but not the way they understood it. And because of the distortion in their understanding of who that God is, their relationship to their gods was similarly distorted.

Their gods weren't demons for God Most high to conquer. Their gods were intended to guide them, to care for them, much as St Michael does for Israel in the scriptures - or how Christians understand their guardian angels take care of them.

The belief which says "All of those other groups had it wrong, we are the only ones that got it right, trust us" is modern materialist atheists. And "all of those other groups" is essentially all of humanity before the past two or three hundred years.

After reading up more in "new age" beliefs and practices, yes I do believe that other "gods" are some kind of demon entity. Especially after listening to some wild and crazy yogi experiences on YouTube, people who converted to Christianity.

Take the Kundalini spirit in Hindu yoga practice for example.

The kundalini is a serpent. Sound like anything familiar?

This is straight from a Yoga website, yogis know the kundalini can be dangerous.

See what yoga practitioners have to say about awakening the kundalini spirit. Sounds like it's bad news for a lot of people.

These people are trying to awaken knowledge within themselves, from a serpent spirit, and it often ends up having bad outcomes. Read below.

Quote:

What happens when Kundalini awakens?

Considered a form of spiritual energy, raising Kundalini requires one be firmly disciplined in both mind and body in order to be properly prepared to embrace the responsibility that comes with Kundalini awakening. The phrase "Kundalini awakening" essentially refers to the discovery and "awakening" of inner knowledge.

Why is Kundalini called the "serpent power"?

Traditionally, the image of the kundalini serpent is used to represent this source of raw energy. The "serpent power" is cultivated through different types of yoga and meditations that wrap an aura of secret and esoterism around this natural phenomenon.

The Kundalini experience: From ancient wisdom to today's lifestyle

Put simply, the energy of kundalini is known for its transformative power in the process of self development and spiritual development. In the Hindu tradition where these concepts as we currently know them come from, kundalini awakening is both a process and an objective for spiritual development. It leads to the union of personal consciousness and cosmic and divine consciousness.

And what happens to some people who awaken the kundalini?

Quote:

There is a prevailing general acceptance that Kundalini Syndrome is a condition that induces a range of physical, sensory, and psychological symptoms. Although these symptoms are generally recognized by spiritual, medical, and psychiatric communities across the globe, it does not mean they all agree upon the symptoms' origin.

What are the symptoms of a kundalini awakening?

Awakening Kundalini shakti can thrust you into a whirlwind of attempting to make sense of what you're experiencing. Some people are unable to cope. Find out more about the symptoms of a rise in this raw energy, also called "kundalini syndrome".

Awakening Kundalini shakti can thrust you into a whirlwind of attempting to make sense of what you're experiencing. Some people are unable to cope. As a result, they may seek refuge with substances, such as drugs or alcohol. The best thing you can do to head off fear is to educate yourself about Kundalini and what to do if you suspect you have Kundalini Syndrome.

Symptoms of Kundalini Syndrome:

Typically, physical signs of this type of spiritual crisis are confined to joint pain, intense headaches, and nausea.

It is not uncommon to also experience symptoms that impact your sensory perception, such as:

- inability to regulate body temperature
- feeling "electricity" running up and down the spine
- the sensation of the body vibrating

Generally, the effects of Kundalini syndrome overwhelm one's emotional and psychological health.
Awakened Kundalini energy itself can be difficult to handle even for the most grounded individual.

A range of syndrome-induced emotional and psychological symptoms may manifest in varying degrees of severity, including:

- depersonalization
- "breaking" with reality
- mood swings
- hallucinations

Healing solutions to the Kundalini Syndrome

Healing your body and spirit requires plenty of sleep, eating whole, real foods, and spending quality time outdoors to ground and restore balance to your chakra system. If symptoms intensify, seek assistance from a spiritual healer to help restore chakra balance. Avoid unnecessary exertion, including meditation and yoga, until symptoms subside.

So if we had an out of context pic or vid of you swinging an axe or after a bad burrito, we'd be good assuming you are likely possessed?
