A few thoughts...
a) don't move this to R&P because we already have this thread over there and it is being met with similar incredulousness increduality? It's not credible.
b) when talking about the end times you have to hedge your bets. Always say "we are growing nearer to the end times" because that can't be refuted. We don't know when, but we know every second is closer. Never say "The end times are here" because you will likely lose your bet.
c) Spotted... and this is a convo that could be moved to R&P, but with this attitude towards Scriptures, the counsels etc, how are you still a Christian? Like.. if you don't trust the Bible's words, what keeps you in the faith?

It's a lot more complicated than what you make it out to be. I fully and completely believe in the divine nature of Jesus Christ. I believe Christ is and was a supernatural and supreme being. I don't understand it all, no one does, and no one needs to to believe. It's called faith for a reason. It doesn't require evidence.swimmerbabe11 said:

What I don't believe in, or trust, is the "purity" of fallen men that over thousands of years have put their own personal spin on scripture. JMO.
I will also never understand how or why we should take as fact every single word in scripture as EXACTLY what it was. How many times has it been translated over the years? Not to mention that a group of people got together and decided what to include and exclude from the Bible as we know it today. What were the requirements that had to be met to be included?

But, one thing is clear: there can be little debate that, among other things, the President's pressure exerted on Vice President Pence to violate his oath, and the false hope it sent to emotionally charged supporters, was wrong, troubling, and impeachable.
