There is a comedy special from a comedian, Hannah Gadsby, on Netflix. I would expect very mixed reviews from this board, but am nevertheless interested to hear opinion from anyone how watches it. 'Comedy' show, but covers a lot of social issues.
"No, no, Nanette!" was a phrase from years ago having to do with Rin Tin Tin's girlfriend being named Nanette. So is she making a name play on being a b--ch?
If she is to be believed that this comedy show was her exit out of comedy, which she says it is, then I think the societal rant (not a political rant) was sort of the purpose of the show. To stop ending the story where the guy gets angry because she thinks she's a bloke hitting on his girlfriend in order to tell the rest of the story where the guy kicks the **** out of her for being a dyke. I don't think she meant to entertain us or make us laugh with her show.
