Not too long ago, the quiet neighborhood of R&P was invaded by a small army blue-star-wielding alt-right socks. The locals were vexed and annoyed. Some of the "old" curmudgeons, such as yours truly, emerged and bid them to leave. One such sock belittled my beverage of choice as well as my manhood. Well, staff did their thing and cleaned up the mess, but I have not forgotten. In response to such insolence, I went and sired another minor model. The 747 family is ecstatic. 747-7 is due early November. 747-1 through 747-6 are quite happy about it all too. As I share this news with my R&P neighbors, I do so with beer in hand.



Take that, sock army.

You're going to regret the spacing between kid #4 and kid #5. Cousins with similar sized families with such a gap between the groupings didn't realize how dependent they came upon having extra driving aged members of the family to help schlep younger siblings around until they didn't have that help.

Ultrasound from today indicates that only one 747 is making its way down the assembly line. 747-7 set to roll out of the factory on or about Nov 2. There is no 747-8 at this time, save for the ones being produced in Everett, WA.

Some friends from our WA days will be visiting again this week, and it reminded me of this thread (the incident in the OP happened last time they came to FL). Had a good laugh.

Good times. 747-7 is now 4 and rambunctious as heck. 747-8 is two, and she's as cute as can be. 747-9 rolls out of the factory in September.

No sock armies to mock, though. Cheers!
