I figured it was the Catechism of the Catholic Church since it was released in 1992 but went with your claim of an encyclical. My point of contention is that a non-Catholics with at best a periphery understanding of how the Church operates claims to know what is an infallible teaching.
Well then correct me. I can't learn if I just get dismissed as a non catholic every time I'm mistaken.

I think a number of post tried to do just that.

The amount of legalism and specificity associated with Catholic teaching is almost incomprehensible to a Protestant sometimes. I mean you guys have damn law degrees for your own catechism it's so convoluted and complicated.

Contrasted with the read the bible and determine your own belief's system of evangelicals, our two mindsets couldn't be further apart.

It's really not that complicated, I swear, and it all has a legitimate basis.

You can't be serious about it not being that complicated. I mean this thread is an argument about what is or, is not a just doctrine.

You wouldn't need canonical lawyers if The Cathecism was easy peasy. Not saying you guys are right or wrong, but to say the RCC is not complicated is pretty comical.
