Any news from Hogs Woods? How was the turn out? Lots of fresh meat?

Decent numbers on Saturday, ok numbers on Sunday and as TR said, several new faces which is always a good thing. The Hogs did well this weekend.

When are you gonna bring your Donut-slinging self out?

And no, no scar across the turtle's back, but if these things keep showing up in our woods we may have to adopt a new mascot.

OC Homeless went out last year too. No say as to why though.

The "homeless" were out last year, and why they continue to cut as a separate group is beyond me. The original reason for their existence, at least according to the story I've been told, is a disagreement with someone who is no longer associated with SB, wasn't a part of SB last year, and is in fact several states away now attending another school. So, if the rumor regarding why they cut with another crew is correct, it seems like they don't really have much ground for continuing to exist as a separate entity, save for the desire to remain "homeless."

But if you want to know the "real story" as to why they choose to cut separate from the Hogs, why don't you come out to cut and ask them? You can get your answer, and cut with them if you wish, or come on down to Hog woods and cut with us. Who you choose to cut/stack with is not nearly as important as is your coming out and participating. But if you wanna cut with the Hogs, I'm sure you'll be welcomed, provided you are willing to work as hard as everyone else.

I intend to cut with Dunn(whoop!) if I get to make it out.

I do encourage yall to talk to Jensen, Cheese (the founders) Keebs, or Reekan (other executives) of OC Homeless if you want to hear it from their mouths, but having cut with them for two years, the real reason they are seperate is because they want to be. To be quite abrupt, they're lazy... and damn proud of it. In speaking directly about this with Jensen this past weekend, he says they just enjoy being lazy, leaving when they want and hanging out whenever the opportunity provides. It really is all about having a good time, sometimes at the cost of productivity. And as to the ill-will perspective (against OC Hogs or anyone for that matter), I have never heard any of the such. The only thing he did say about OC Hogs was that some of the Hogs tried to convince them to join so that yall can get centerpole... while that is cool and an ultimate goal for most crews, Jensen and his boys (and girls) aren't all that interested generally, especially at the cost of being their light-hearted, lazy a$$ selfs. They are Bums for Christ-sake, hence the homeless. (Not because they couldn't find a home.) But like I said, come talk to them in the woods or whatnot (they cut with Lechner in FHK's woods) and you will surely get the full scoop.

I think I can say with certainty that the Hogs never tried to convince homeless to join OC in order to get centerpole. That's not the Hog's way of doing things.

The Hogs would welcome them if they'd like to join, but again, they would have to work hard.

Again, any discrepancies are alleviated by talking to the source... I recommend all interested parties come bearing cigarettes and/or food.

A lazy OC crew... I might have to check them out next time I make it in.

snoball, im with shanag. i know for a fact that no current hogs leadership ever approached jensen or the likewise about "joining for centerpole" or anything of the sort. i would like to know who your source is and who they have been talking to.

and as was said before, anyone is welcome to cut with the hogs and they will be expected to put forth the same effort as the guy/girl next to them.

Hell, that's why this ol' ass dead ain't out there. I learned my lesson last year. I can't hang with you youngin's, so Gig' Em, Hogs! I'll see you at Burn.

My source is Jensen... and I never said it was leadership who approached him.

BTW, Lew, you should make an effort to get out there if you want your donut tossing legacy to be remembered. I can see it fading fast as each time it is mentioned, more and more faces get this clueless look about them.

Yeah I know I need to come out. I heard there is a new Jew Pot and he needs to be taught the ways. You know, tossing doughnts and being the butt of your jokes.

Is Cut expected to go into November? There isn't anything on the calender between the last weekend in October and Burn.
