Howdy Ags,

As I'm sure a couple of you know I posted here a while ago about trying to get some Aston guys together and this forum was alot of help, and I think that's gonna work out.

Now I've got another question. As an '07 that hasn't worked on this before how to I get involved before the actual cut? I've tried emailing the student bonfire website and haven't really gotten a response. Anyway I was sure that somebody on here would know who I can email to get more information. Instead of just sitting around all spring and then showing up at cut, I'd like to be as involved as possible so that I know what's going on come end of summer.

The Aston guys were with Hogs last fall. There's an old Aston guy lurkin' around here somewhere who first started the Aston revival, but you might want to talk to the actual guys who still live there. I won't pass out their information, but if you post yours I can make sure it gets to them.

In the mean time, it's a good idea to sign up for the Student Bonfire newsletter, and you can help out with some of the fundraising and other stuff that's going on.

I'm not worried about the Aston guys I've talked to them and stuff. And I think I'm on the newsletter.

Then that's about all you can do - help with the fundraisers and help your Aston guys recruit and get ready for the fall.

Any other help that's needed is usually sent out on the listserv, and you can always check the new forums.

I guess I already have done what I need to do. It's true I was doing some reading in Keepers of the Spirit that night and I decided to post about it, tonight I'm staying up because I have to put out campaign posters at 6:30 and I'd never wake up so I'm just staying up.

Since I joined the listserv in December I've gotten like two emails.

Did you get the one about Parents Weekend? I know they're gonna need help with that stuff.

Nah, Parent's Weekend is the 2nd weekend in April. The 8th-10th.

Just swing by my place, if i'm gone it's probably Parent's Weekend. Gotta get out of town before the people who taught these kids to drive get down here.
