I haven't been in years. Last time they were still running shuttle buses to the site. Is it just on site parking now? How much of a cluster is that? How early would people need to show up? Given this is first game back with tu I imagine it will be packed.
I'm thinking of taking the kids but they won't last multiple hours standing around waiting for burn.

So, will it burn a week from tonight?

At this point, it doesn't look like they will. Robertson County is in a burn ban, and absolutely should be. The KBDI average for the county is currently 630. It needs to be 575 for conditions to be safe enough for the county to lift the ban. The only thing that can bring that index down is rain, and there isn't any in sight. The last rain of .5" brought the index down 1 whole point. So I am fully expecting the ban to remain in place.

Just before Last Shift, my camera fell and was damaged. I didn't realize how bad until I got back to my desk to develop the photos. I still feel sick about how the "Last Shift" photo turned out. In focus on the left of frame to blurry on the right.

Out of my appreciation for the Aggies who built Bonfire and the people who supported them, and feeling awful about how this final - and most anticipated - photo of the season turned out, I am offering the photos in high resolution without watermark for personal use for print.
