I heard that when the University announced Dirty Mo was to become coed, the bonfire boys decided the crew was done for. Having nothing to lose, they caused so much damage to the dorm that even after insurance kicked in, every resident had to pay $3,000 out of pocket.
Can anybody verify that this was something that legitimately happened?
If it did, this could have been one of the most redass things to ever happen at A&M.
(It seems that the University has removed all traces of Old Army bonfire communities from history. Cushing is even corrupt.)
