Hey gang...wanted to let you know of a special Bonfire feature that we're doing tomorrow on the show. At 10:35, Student Bonfire board member, Bonfire photographer, former Head Stack and friend of TexAgs and TexAgs Radio - Dion McInnis - will come in-studio to go over logistics for next Wednesday's Burn Night.

In addition to that, a very special guest will be joining us via telephone. His name is Scott Eden, writer for ESPN The Magazine and ESPN.com. Scott has spent many, many days in Aggieland dating back to September 23, working on a blowout feature about Bonfire that has been kept a secret up to this point. He's worked hand-in-hand with Student Bonfire during this time, but it's much more than just doing interviews. Scott actually got his hands dirty and worked on Cut and Stack to get a true sense for what these students go through in order to build Aggie Bonfire. He went full immersion working alongside the students, even swinging an axe, and swamping a log.

At every opportunity, Scott chose to be among the students and Bonfire, from the place he chose to stay (on Northgate across from the Chicken) to who he went to the game with (Corps outfit K2).

Scott toured campus with Frank Cox, '65 (former Yell Leader, Redpot). He went to the ULM Yell Practice. He visited the university archives and found surprising information about the origins and history of Bonfire. He interviewed dozens (underselling) of Former Students about Bonfire's past, its traditions and its historical significance.

Dion told me that if his experience with Scott holds true, Scott and ESPN The Magazine will reintroduce Aggies to Bonfire, and to Texas A&M.

You can check out Scott's bio here: http://scotteden.net/

Scott lives in New York and is a graduate of Notre Dame. He's one of the very best writers in sports journalism today.

The story is expected to run in the Thanksgiving week edition of ESPN The Magazine. And be on the lookout for a blowout piece early next week on ESPN.com as well.

We'll talk to Scott about his Aggieland experience tomorrow at 10:35.
