"...we burned the Son of a *****." Bonfire '94 burned 20 years ago today, eight days after collapsing due to heavy rains and being rebuilt from scratch. Stackapalooza, rotating 8-on, 12-off shifts. Everyone pitched in, put differences aside, and worked with a sense of urgency. It was a beautiful thing.

Rebuild '94 was an amazing feat. The "On the 8th Day.." t-shirt is one I wish I had bought. Hard to believe that was 20 yrs ago. Wow. Good post OP

Being a fish in '97, all of those guys who were freshmen & chiefs were still around from '94. I remember thinking that what they got to do in '94 was pretty much the coolest thing ever.

Left a whole town in disbelief. Albeit a much smaller town, but still.
