Some of you may have heard that I was contacted by an art gallery about setting up an exhibition of the Bonfire photos. It's been a busy couple months working on this, but at the Blanco County A&M Club's Muster, the photos were displayed for the first time in public.
This was a preview, with the photos there as a backdrop for the club's enjoyment, without any presentation or storyline. Even so, just sitting around the perimeter of the event, your work really meant something to a lot of folks.
And the kicker, my whole reason for doing this, came just five minutes in when a gentleman, Class of '65, came up to the two Reds who came along to shake their hands and say "You've got the real thing there!"
I wanted to pass this on to all of you. What you do is terribly significant, and very impressive. As an Aggie, a Dead, a friend, a supporter, on so many levels, I am exceedingly proud.
