Anyways, my $0.02: after every season take a couple of steps back to figure out how to take a lot of steps forward the next fall. Even the biggest crews have room for improvement. Some great models of recent progress are Lechner, Neeley, Legett, and especially Dunn this year.

On the other side, I didn't see as much of, Moore, McInnis, SBK, or even fhkplex & OC this year as I have the last couple. My observations may be wrong, but on the days I went walking thru the woods their numbers didn't seem as strong as I remembered. Maybe it was just mid-season slump or their respective recruiting pools weren't great, but smaller isn't the direction any proactive crew should be heading.

I'm looking out for Appelt or Mosher to have a break out year and just surprise me but from my observations they have the same problem HHH (and a lot of other dorms) did in the first couple of years after coming back online - small number of returning crew members. I'm convinced the biggest asset to any Bonfire dorm is a large returning group living there at the beginning of the fall semester (ignoring Lechner). Work on keeping people from leaving the dorm to live off campus or elsewhere, large numbers make recruiting less intensive per capita and they do a lot to make SB seem less of a 'rebel & renegade' operation.

Plus it really bites Reslife in the ass.

TOMDOSS is a tongue-in-cheek reference to the fact that the residents of Appelt/Aston (back when they were all-male) were nancies, not men.

And the corps are on south side as well, but we all know that they don't count as men

The deer could have been Moore, they wouldn't claim it at the time. Moore was pretty quiet around that time. All of their chiefs were on double secret probation after their grode night, and Moses and Moore had a pretty good relationship and were usually working together on these types of pranks. The Moore bench f*cks at the time were mostly harmless other than a couch or two spontaneously catching on fire in the middle of the quad. They could have instigated it. It was always assumed Crocker was at fault, but that might have just been the master plan for us to retaliate against Crocker. Who knows, but it was a classic.

I wonder if the current Moses Hall residents still have the traditional party we always had on this Monday.... Those who lived there know which one I mean, although it was always an upperclassmen party when I was in Moses Hall!

This thread makes me happy and sad at the same time. 85-86 4th Floor RAB, Crew Chief. Really good times.

I lived in Moses from 2005 until they kicked us out to make it a fish dorm. I loved my time there. Had an absolute blast in that place.

A little part of me died when I noticed that the benches were gone. Played 42 alot on those benches. Great times.

Lived in Hart but spent some time playing 42 at the Moses Benches... that place was dying before it was an all fish dorm... But my fish year Moses was feared by quite a few...

Have they decided something on Moses? The way you guys are talking is that it is going to be demolished. I saw what they did across the quad and figure it is only a matter of time. I understand if you are talking about the dorm going freshmen only.

all of the corps style dorms on north side were slatted for demolition (or were labeled such in '03) but the university had bond money tied up that was handicapping the pace at which they did any demo-rebuild there so they couldn't take it all down at once... or so we were told.

I do miss old Moses hall and the questioning about the bathroom by UPD " sir you didn't hear... anything nope not a thing... the entire bathroom is destroyed really well I didn't hear anything" all while being room 410 directly across from the bathroom. That was a very hazy but awesome fish year if only we hadn't been forcibly kicked out/
