Could someone please answer for me what happend with the busses this year? In the past, we set it up that all busses ran until the majority of the crowd returned to their cars. That took until about 12:30 or so... My guess is that people were still in line after 2.
I overheard many tired, grumpy people that said they would not come back because of the bus lines, and I find that unfortunate.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bonfire leadership would be wise to form a Burn Night committee. I know it's easy to focus on the building, believe me, I've been there... but when you have an event that draws large crowds, you have to plan and have people responsible for the execution of that plan.
Aside from that and a few other issues, the burn was beautiful and everyone involved should be proud for their accomplishments. Bonfire is amazing and I wish only for its continued success.
For all those who sacrificed so much, thank you again for overcoming obstacles to preserve tradition and unite the Aggie Family. Know that my question and advice comes from a constructive place.
